General Workshop Assistant an opportunity within a well-established Fabrication and Sheetmetal company in Nelson, Lancashire.
The Company:
Established in 2003, this family run Group employs approximately 35 employees. Their teams provide an all-round design, laser, fold, and fabrication service to a broad customer base.
They are looking to expand by recruiting an experienced generalist to join a small friendly, experienced team in production support for the Fabrication Division.
About The Role
Goods-In:
* Unloading of Vehicles using Forklift Truck
* Receive orders and book-in
* Check Quantity & Quality
* Complete Paperwork
* Update Computer Records
* Raise non-conformance where appropriate
* Label -up lengths
* Steel Stock control
* Fixings Stock Control (inserts/nuts/bolts etc.)
Workshop Assistance:
* Some cutting/inserting/drilling & tapping
