Job Description
The Surveyor Supervisor or Geodetic Engineer is responsible for conducting, processing, and maintaining all mine survey data to ensure accurate measurement of mine workings, boundaries, and topographic features. The role provides critical support to mine planning, operations, and environmental compliance through precise survey outputs and mapping.
Responsibilities
- Conduct topographic, boundary, and volumetric surveys using total station, GPS, or drone equipment.
- Establish and maintain control points and benchmarks within the mine area.
- Process and plot survey data into maps, plans, and digital models.
- Monitor pit progress, stockpile volumes, and haul road alignment.
- Assist in monthly production volume computation and reconciliation.
- Ensure all survey works are performed accurately and safely.
- Coordinate with Mine Engineering and Operations for required survey data.
