Geologist/Hydrogeologist

Weston & Sampson is seeking an entry-level Geologist/Hydrogeologist with 0-2 years of experience for our Water discipline in our Suffern, NY office.




What you’ll do:

+ Hydrogeologic /geologic investigations

+ Pumping test supervision

+ Water-quality sampling

+ Streamflow gaging

+ GIS map/graphics generation

+ Soil sampling and logging during well installation

+ Permit and report writing



What you will bring:

+ BS in Geology with an emphasis in Hydrogeology

+ A positive attitude and ability to work in a team setting

+ Enthusiasm for completing field work at a variety of site settings

+ Practical knowledge of GIS, data entry and management using Microsoft Suite

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Some travel will be required to conduct field work
