Geomechanics Specialist – Aberdeen (12 month PAYE contract)
Our client, a North Sea operator, is recruiting for the position of Geomechanics Specialist based in Aberdeen.
Responsibilities
- Provide geomechanics specialist technical support to company operated and non-operated portfolio of assets, projects and wells including drilling operations and well abandonments.
- Responsible for effective delivery of integrated geomechanical analysis (e.g. fracture gradient prediction, borehole stability, compaction and subsidence, sand failure assessment, waterflooding and polymer injection, well stimulation, top-seal integrity, underground venting, etc).
- Deliver high quality geomechanical technical work as individual contributor including in support of well planning, design, execution and well abandonments.
- Provide support for ongoing offshore well activities where required outside normal office hours (e.g. weekends, evenings). <...
