Role
Temporary and Permanent Works design of structures such as:
- Sheet piles, cantilever and tie-back design
- Reinforced Soil wall structures
- RC and mass concrete retaining walls
- Underwater structures, i.e. quay walls, revetments, pipe-anchors, etc.
- Fendering/berthing piles
- Groundwater control/dewatering
Responsibilities
- Prepare, present and defend geotechnical and structural designs in front of Consultants and Local Authorities.
- Gather design data from site, prepare survey briefs for testing company, interrogate and assimilate SI report data, translate test data to design input.
- Identify ‘Funny-values’ and prepare professional interpretative reports of technical survey and design data.
- Manage on‑site installations and take immediate action to address and resolve site unexpected findings, followed by post‑installation design validation.
