Job Description
PURPOSE
This position exists to provide technical support primarily to the FA LATAM Tailings operational divisions with the core function being to monitor and manage technical risk. Technical support is provided to the other FA operational divisions as and when needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational
Support the Provide mentoring, guidance, and support to tailings operations.
Identify, monitor, report, and mitigate technical risks in ongoing technical audits.
Facilitate risk assessments on facilities with significant risk.
Develop and agree on risk mitigation measures.
Undertake technical assessments of tailings operations including stability assessments, life assessments water balances etc.
Preparation of technical audit reports in line with country regulations and Fraser´s standards.
Optimization
Ensure continuous improvement to optimize the effective functioning of the Technical Division.
Work closely with Operations on contracts to ensure that appro...
