Compensation
Pay range: $8 to $65 per hour. Final offer amounts may vary from the pay range listed above. As a contractor, you’ll supply a secure computer and high-speed internet; company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and PTO do not apply.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and edit AI-generated translations for grammatical accuracy, fluency, cultural nuance, and context sensitivity.
- Translate between German and English in both directions; document model failures and provide insight to improve translation quality and consistency.
- Annotate errors, provide cultural or contextual explanations, and suggest improvements to prompts, evaluation methods, and model behavior.
