GIS Engineer

As a GIS engineer you will be part of our geo department of Global Engineering the engineering department within Boskalis Offshore Energy Division.

Responsible for collecting managing and analysing GIS data the point of contact for internal clients for the various tenders and projects that require GIS support. On one hand you will have a focus on spatial data analysis from simply visualising data to solutions for project management support and on the other hand a focus on hands‑on GIS deliverables for various projects. You will prepare maps, graphs and reports and maintain and update GIS. A broader perspective you will assist in improving business processes with the aid of GIS.

You’ll be working together with a multinational team of geo‑ and GIS specialists all with their own talents and expertise in engineering geology, geotechnics, geophysics and GIS and also with the tender project teams and the survey department.
