GIS Sales Manager – Job Description
A GIS Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling Geographic Information System (GIS) and mapping solutions to enterprise, government, and commercial clients. The role requires strong technical understanding of GIS platforms such as ArcGIS and related geospatial technologies, combined with proven enterprise sales expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for GIS, remote sensing, and mapping solutions.
- Drive new business acquisition across government, utilities, telecom, transportation, oil & gas, and smart city sectors.
- Manage full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (CIOs, GIS managers, urban planners, CTOs).
