Stores Person
Pertemps are working with an established Manufacturing business based in Southampton who are recruiting for a Goods Inwards & Stores Person to join their team. This is a full time, permanent position.
Responsibilities as a Stores Person:
- Receive, unload and inspect incoming deliveries, check quantities, condition and documentation against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Conduct regular cycle counts and stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records and investigate discrepancies or variances
- Accurately book in stock, update inventory records and maintain system data to support stock visibility.
- Issue stock, parts and equipment through a controlled process
- Communicate shortages, damaged goods and delayed deliveries
- Maintain clean, safe and organised storage areas
