Conditions: A locum GP is required for this community health service whilst they recruit for a permanent GP. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm with an hour for lunch. The patient load will be varied and booked in 15-minute appointments, with Best Practice software in use. In terms of support, there will be a practice nurse on site 3 days a week, Allied Health team on site, 1 day per fortnight with a visiting diabetes educator, 1 day per fortnight for x-rays on site (urgent x-rays can be taken by trained RN’s), 1 day per fortnight visiting midwife offering antenatal clinic, 3 days per month with a visiting RFDS women’s health doctor plus local mental health support for clients needing access (per fortnight on site). Paying $1600 per day for clinic support only, or $1800 per day when also on call for the UCC, travel, car and accommodation support is also provided.
