Procedural hospital seeing approximately 25-32 patients per day through ED. Maternity on site with Obstetric and Anaesthetic cover. There are 27 beds and 2 birthing rooms. Of the 27 beds, three are maternity beds and two high observation beds. Emergency department has five beds and one Resus Bay. The estimated residential population of Forbes LGA in 2016 was 9,587. People aged 70 years and over accounted for approximately 15.2% of the population. In the 2016 Census 11.1% of the LGA population identified as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander. Details
