GP with interest in cardiology - Bank Position
Croydon University Hospital seeks to recruit qualified Croydon GPs to be trained to deliver Heart Failure clinics within the Cardiology service as part of a unified team at our acute site.
The role is part-time and offered on a bank basis. GP Cardiologists are asked to consider undertaking 1-2 sessions per week. Full training will be provided, as will a shadowing programme.
This role builds on the successful OIGC model, providing GPs with training in Heart Failure diagnosis and management by specialist consultants, addressing the rising prevalence of Heart Failure in the Croydon area. It also offers opportunities to disseminate knowledge back into primary care for shared learning.
