Caton Construction Group is growing! Currently seeking a Grade Foreman for our roadway construction project in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina (Cornelius).
Summary/Objective
The Grade Foreman is a field position that is responsible to organize and lead a crew to safely and efficiently perform mass earthwork and excavating activities, balancing highway and road construction/reconstruction. The Foreperson works under the general direction of the Superintendent.
Essential Functions
· Coordinating construction work according to priorities and plans.
· Plan, organize and lead grading crew.
· Producing schedules and monitor attendance of crew.
· Allocating general and daily responsibilities.
