Elevate students’ theatrical skills as a part-time Theatre Educator at Mount Baker Secondary School in Cranbrook, BC. Teach various programs including Acting and Stagecraft.
We are seeking a dedicated Drama/Theatre Teacher for a part-time continuing position (0.857 FTE) starting September 8, 2026. Candidates should hold BC Teacher Certification and have a solid background in Theatre education, focusing on Grades 10-12. You'll provide an engaging learning experience while conducting off-timetable sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Drama and Acting for Grades 10-12
• Create and oversee Theatre Production initiatives
• Host off-timetable classes to enhance learning
• Foster a collaborative and creative environment
• Partner with staff on school productions
Requirements:
• BC Teacher Certification strongly preferred
