Atkins Golf Club at the University of Illinois is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of full-time Greenskeeper. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. 


We will be hiring both full and part-time seasonal staff to assist in maintaining the golf course. Selected applicants will start work between March 1 and May 15.


Pay Range: $17 - $19.50 per hour BOE 


Key Responsibilities of the Greenskeeper:
  • Performs general landscape maintenance using handheld equipment

  • Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.

  • Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.

  • Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.

  • Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
