Job Description

Summary

The Grinding Technician job is an hourly position that is responsible for operating the grinding tool and measuring the physical properties of PES5003P before and after the grinding process. The Grinding Technician will follow the established standard operating procedures and work instructions and must be able to work independently with little supervision.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Operating the grinding tool and testing equipment in accordance to established procedures
  • Understanding customer specifications including Foreign Object Debris (FOD) requirements
  • Performing product inspections by operating all testing equipment
  • Inductively Coupled Plasma for iron content
  • Particle Analyzer for particle size and distribution
  • Karl Fischer Titration for moisture content
  • Muffle Furnace for ash content
