Job Description
Performs a variety of grounds maintenance work including, but not limited to, pruning, trimming, weeding, cutting grass and weeds by hand tools and mowers, mulching, planting, snow removal, and moving furniture and equipment from place to place.
Job Qualifications
Working knowledge of the methods, materials and equipment commonly used in grounds work.
Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written instructions. Ability to work independently.
Physical condition commensurate with the demands of this position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Previous grounds work experience preferred.
Must have current, clean driver's license.
Ability to obtain NYS Education Department Fingerprint Clearance.
