Job Description
We are seeking groundworker to assist with seasonal growth. It is essential that the candidates are able to drive with a cat B licence.
* Setting out the site: Marking up areas for excavation, utilities, and construction boundaries using plans or GPS tech.
* Laying foundations: Digging and preparing trenches, pouring concrete, and installing footings for buildings or infrastructure.
* Drainage and ducting: Installing pipes, manholes, and channels to manage water and waste – essential to prevent flooding and future headaches.
* External works: Creating driveways, footpaths, kerbs, fencing and landscaping once the main structure is complete.
* Operating plant and tools: Using machinery like excavators, dumpers, and compactors – safely and efficiently.
* Health and safety compliance: Maintaining a safe site for everyone, from scaffolders to sparkies.
