Job Description
This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and coherence of financial records, as well as timeliness in submission of management reports. They also lead the company's response to BIR Letters Of Authority ( LOA ) as well as other tax assessments and similar issues. Finally, the Group Accounting Manager develops and revises company policies regarding tax treatment, strategies, and other related areas.
Responsibilities
- Audit company books of accounts to ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations
- Review and implement policies and practices to maximize tax and operational efficiency
- Lead preparation of responses to BIR LOA, audits, and other tax assessments
- Oversee preparation of periodic business activity reports such as sales performance report, profitability, ageing report, etc.
