The officer monitors and manages students serving in-house suspension, those under the reintegration programme, and students sent out of class for time-out at the reflection centre. During these interactions, the officer applies restorative processes and uses teachable moments to guide student behaviour. The officer also supervises students assigned to the reflection centre, ensuring that tasks assigned are meaningful and developmental in nature, and follows up with form teachers on students who have missed their sessions

The officer assists in preliminary investigations and fact-finding interviews for minor incidents, obtains student and witness statements where appropriate, and compiles evidence and structured incident reports for the relevant key personnel.
