Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Lead academic, clinical, and administrative functions of the Gynae & Obs Department. Conduct theory classes, practicals, and case-based discussions for MBBS and PG students. Supervise major and minor surgeries (LSCS, hysterectomies, laparoscopic procedures, etc.). Mentor and guide PG students in thesis, clinical training, and research publications. Oversee labor room, OT, and antenatal/postnatal ward rounds. Ensure clinical audits, patient care quality, and adherence to NABH/NMC protocols. Publish papers in indexed journals and support departmental research. Organize CMEs, workshops, and contribute to curriculum development. Coordinate with hospital administration and inspection bodies like NMC.
