Free State Oil (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of VKB Agriculture (Pty) Ltd, is offering a 12‑month Millwright Apprenticeship at its Villiers plant in the Free State. The role provides hands‑on training under experienced millwrights, covering installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities Assist with installing, assembling, and dismantling machinery. Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes. Read technical drawings. Use hand and power tools. Align equipment, clean, and lubricate parts. Maintain a safe work environment. Attend classroom training sessions. Requirements Grade 12 / NQF4 qualification. Some experience in construction, maintenance, or mechanical trades. Enrolled in or have completed a pre‑apprenticeship programme.
