As a Hansard Editor, you'll play a crucial role in accurately recording and transcribing parliamentary debates and speeches. This position offers a unique opportunity to witness democracy in action while contributing to the official historical record of New Zealand's Parliament.

Every day is different within Parliament and as Hansard Editor, you'll be amongst it all.

  • Transcribe and edit parliamentary debates and select committee meetings. to ensure clarity and readability.
  • Proofread transcripts, maintaining a high level of accuracy and consistency.
  • Research and verify information, names, and technical terms.
