About the project
Te Mātāwai is the creation of a 276‑unit apartment complex in central Auckland, delivered under a 'single‑site supported housing' model. This model coordinates public housing with support services to meet customers' social and health needs and increase wellbeing. It is one of the first demonstrations of single‑site supported housing in Aotearoa New Zealand with 24/7 on‑site support and Hapori Kaitiaki services.
Role Summary
Permanent, full‑time role with 24/7 rostered rotating shift. As a Hapori Kaitiaki (Community Guardian) you will be the first point of contact for customers and tenants, visitors and the community. You will ensure that all receive the appropriate care, information and support required within a welcoming, healthy environment. The role requires engagement with inter‑disciplinary groups, the on‑site Lead Support Provider, wider Kāinga Ora groups and external stakeholders.
