Job Description
Amentum is seeking a highly organized and safety‑driven **Hazardous Waste Specialist** to support chemical and radioactive material management for facilities in the Washington, DC area. This role is responsible for developing and implementing programs that ensure the safe handling, storage, transport, and disposal of hazardous and radioactive materials.
The specialist also conducts routine inspections to ensure employees and operations comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations and guidelines, helping maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
