Job Summary
The Mortgage Underwriter is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and validating loan applications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with investor, secondary market, and government agency guidelines. Key Responsibilities
Review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established underwriting guidelines.
Verify loan application information against all supporting documents within the loan file.
Analyze credit documentation including mortgage applications, credit reports, income and asset documents, title reports, appraisals, and all applicable compliance disclosures.
