About the role

We are seeking HD Mechanicsto join our Thiess Western Region Maintenance hub located in Hazelmere, working a 7/7 roster, rotating dayshift and nightshift. The Maintenance Hub is designed to support repairs and refurbish a variety of Mining Equipment and Components within Thiess and subsidiary internal Asset refurbishment requirements as well as external key Tier 1 mining customers. With a strong pipeline of machine refurbishments including major component changes, this position also offers a great working atmosphere with potential to grow your career into any aspect of maintenance and asset management within the Thiess group.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, coach and mentor the maintenance crew and follow directives of managers and supervisors.

  • Assist crews to effectively meet daily safety, equipment reliability and maintenance compliance to plan targets for the project.
