Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff and food preparation activities.
- Plan menus and ensure consistent food quality and presentation.
- Monitor stock levels and manage inventory and ordering of supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulations.
- Control food costs and minimise wastage.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and kitchen organisation.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff.
Experience & Qualification
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- Culinary qualification advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
- Strong leadership and kitchen management skills.
