Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Commitment to the development and support of the student-athlete, passion for the game, and the ability to coach and motivate players and staff
+ Establish rules for the team and oversee the supervision, instruction and development of student-athletes and the team; make strategic decisions in contest situations; coordinate player evaluation and selection in conjunction with the assistant coach(es)
+ Promote individual growth in athletic skills, leadership development, mental preparation, teamwork, discipline, respect, and good sportsmanship
+ Develop and implement an annual recruiting plan, associated strategy and maintain a database of prospective student-athletes in coordination with the office of enrollment management
+ Develop and implement communications strategies that will assure the success of the program, i.e., clean and professionally drafted recruiting letters, professional home visit presenta...
