Responsibilities
We're looking for a Head Miller based at Gqeberha Mill to jon the team. Supervises the activities of a group of employees/controllers engaged in performing a variety of milling routines. Responsible for the training of new employees as well as the training in SHEQ procedures and principles.
Accountabilities
- Ensuring that the team reaches our set targets (Material efficiency, True efficiency, Net efficiency and balancing of the Mill)
- Compiling mill grist & controlling product quality parameters
- Planning of production maintenance and roll change
- Compile and execute milling & milling processes for shift
- Training and guiding Miller assistants
- Provide leadership and relieving Millers when required
- Ensure house keeping
- Controll raw material & finished stock levels & rotation for shift
- Ensuring wheat from Silos is cleaned and well conditioned
