Overview
Head of Laboratory Services at Donnington Grove Veterinary Group, based at the main hospital in Newbury, West Berkshire. Lead a laboratory team to deliver a first class diagnostic service for a busy Equine and Small Animal practice, with the aim of growing the laboratory as the in-house provider of choice within the IVC Evidensia Group.
Newbury is a thriving market town with good train links to London and semi-rural surroundings.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Laboratory Technicians and deliver high-quality laboratory services across haematology, clinical chemistry, endocrinology, microbiology, serology and molecular diagnostics.
- Develop the portfolio of tests, keep equipment and working practices up to date, and support the growth of the laboratory within the practice and broader network.
