Head of Radiotherapy Physics

Due to the retirement of the postholder, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is looking to recruit a new Head of Radiotherapy Physics. The candidate must be a highly experienced radiotherapy physicist holding HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist and RPA2000 registration as an MPE. Having HSSR would be an advantage. They must have extensive experience of managing diverse staff groups and significant project management experience within radiotherapy.
Nottingham Radiotherapy Centre serves a catchment population of about 1.2 million and provides highly specialist treatments to the rest of the East Midlands (including paediatric radiotherapy, SRS and pancreatic SABR). It has six Elekta linacs, including two new EVO linacs with IRIS imaging. Other services include a Papillon P+ contact therapy unit and image guided brachytherapy. Treatment planning is with RayStation.
