Head Veterinary Receptionist
Location: Beechwood Veterinary Hospital Doncaster, 51 Bawtry Road, Doncaster, DN4 7AA
Contract: Permanent, Full‑time. Hours: 40 hours per week. Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, with a share in the weekend rota.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities:
- Managing the Receptionist team, including training and providing support and guidance
- Being the point of contact for complaints and escalations
- Line management and conducting team 1‑2‑1’s / check‑ins
- Creating and managing the team rota
- Supporting Recruitment and liaising with the internal recruitment team
- Answering phones and booking appointments
- Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
- Registering new clients
- Completing insurance forms
- Dispensing medications
- Taking payments
