Job Description
Our client is currently hiring an experienced HeadSommelier for a high-end restaurant in Dubai.
What will you do?
- Have complete knowledge of all menu items offered
- Ensure product quality and consistency are delivered at all times
- Has impeccable knowledge of all products in the portfolio
- Recommend food and wine pairings
- Advising guests on wines based on their personal tastes and food choices
- Has a good knowledge of all beverages beyond those stocked in the restaurant
- Follow HACCP requirements
What are we looking for?
- Certified sommelier or successfully completed equivalent of WSET Level 4 would be preferable
- Solid knowledge of French and New World wines (South American and North American wines, in particular, would be an advantage)
- Curious attitude, always learning and exploring new ideas
