Headteacher

The Pupils, Staff and Governors of Shirenewton Primary School are seeking a

passionate, innovative and inspirational leader to fill the post of Headteacher, who will

continue to build upon recent curriculum and pedagogical reforms, as well as the

transformation of our learning environment. We are looking for a leader who will drive

school forward in line with our vision and with both local and national priorities. This

leader will hold high expectations, and place strong emphasis on empowering staff

and pupils alike to “Learn Together, Achieve for Life.”

Shirenewton Primary School is a 210‑pupil school situated in a beautiful rural location

on the outskirts of Chepstow. Its extensive grounds contribute significantly to the

learning environment and the rich experiences offered to pupils.
