Requirements
- Grade 12.
- SAMTRAC or a National Diploma in Safety Management (or similar).
- Minimum 3 experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment .
- Good understanding of the OHS Act and safety systems .
- Computer literate (MS Office).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation and standards.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits on equipment, facilities, and work areas.
- Investigate workplace incidents and implement preventative measures.
- Carry out hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA).
- Ensure contractors and employees follow all safety procedures and permit requirements.
