We are looking for a Health Care Worker Grade 1 to join our supportive Community Aged Care Services team at Portland District Health. As a Healthcare Worker - Domestic Assistance, you will perform typical activities that include:
- General household duties including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and meal preparation.
- Shopping without consumer.
- Responsible for compliance with safety guidelines in relation to cleaning products.
- Required to report all unsafe conditions or equipment/appliances in consumers’ homes.
- Carry out tasks in a friendly and cooperative manner, demonstrating a caring attitude towards consumer.
- Encouraging consumers to maintain and enhance their abilities and strengths.
