Job Description
NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership provides Clinical Logistics Transport Services across all Health Boards in Wales via its Health Courier Service and is seeking Driver/Storekeeper staff to join this service based in the Newport area, serving South Wales.
On average, the service sorts (via its own mail sorting hubs), delivers and collects over 120,000 items of mail/medical notes per week, and transports in excess of 5 million movements of samples of Blood Products and Pathology in accordance with relevant regulatory and Good Manufacturing Practice requirements per year. Core services operate between 8 am and 6 pm Monday to Friday, with a small range of services available 24 hours a day.
Contracted at 20 hours per week, working 4 hours per day Monday to Friday – anticipated to commence on 1 September 2026.
