Health & Safety Coordinator
Reporting to the Director of Health & Safety, this position works in the field to implement and monitor our Safety Management System (SMS), ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and business objectives.
Duties
- Ensure day-to-day activities, from an OH&S perspective, comply with legislations, regulations, acts, by-laws, policies & procedures and sound business practices.
- Ensure company SMS is in place, understood and followed by all staff.
- Evaluate and monitor health & safety hazards providing for a safe and healthy workplace for all employees and clients.
- Work with managers to ensure safety incidents are investigated, causes are determined, corrective actions are identified & implemented, and reports are submitted in company safety software.
