Job Description
Reporting to the Manager HSE, the Health Safety & Environment (HSE) Advisor will work alongside the national health and safety team and local operations. The HSE Advisor will emphasize firsthand engagement and direct involvement with field operations to ensure risks are managed effectively and control measures are practical and implementable in the construction environment.
This position will be providing support to our operations in Kitchener, London, Burlington, and Hamilton.
PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct site-specific risk assessments directly on construction and infrastructure sites, observing real-time operations to identify hazards.
- Collaborate with field teams to assess risks associated with high-risk tasks, such as excavation, scaffolding, crane operations, trenching, paving operations, and confined spaces.
