Job SummaryThis Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) oversees a comprehensive safety program at the Mark Center in Alexandria, Virginia. The program includes environmental, e.g., hazardous waste, EPCRA, RCRA, air permit compliance, spill response, etc., fire protection and prevention, industrial hygiene, occupational health, and worker safety aspects for the Base Operations & Support (BOS) contractor at the Mark Center. The SSHO works in close partnership with all operational areas to ensure a safe facility where the BOS services delivered comply with contract requirements as well as local, state, and federal regulations regarding health, safety, and environmental matters.
