JOB TITLE : Health & Safety Officer

JOB PURPOSE : This professional overarching mandate is to ensure that the company is in compliance and adheres to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines. This expert also ensures the reduction and prevention of accidents, injuries, and health hazards by implementing and overseeing safety protocols and guidelines.
REPORTS TO : Project Manager at Site
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct regular safety inspections of the workplace, equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition and meet safety standards
• Provide training sessions, workshops, and safety orientations to employees and contractors to ensure they are aware of proper safety protocols and emergency procedures.
