Healthcare Assistant – Outpatients Guildford Hospital
Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. The position is part‑time and includes weekend work, with pay up to £15 per hour depending on experience.
As a Healthcare Assistant in Outpatients you will provide supportive care to a range of clinical teams, including Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Plastics Surgery, ENT, Cardiology, GP Services, Psychiatry and Physiotherapy. You will help patients feel cared for as individuals, manage a wide range of activities and changing priorities, ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations of clinics, and assist consultants and nurses with procedures such as dressings and wound care.
