Job Description
Organization and Management
- Provide basic nursing care that aligns with the vision, mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of the nursing services and the hospital.
- Notify nursing leaders of any situations that impact the quality of care.
- Obtain ward reports and assignments at the beginning of each shift and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Unit Manager or Senior Registered Nurse.
- Daily routine: conduct regular nursing rounds to assess patients’ needs and communicate with them and their families; prepare and tidy patients’ beds and linens; organize patients’ belongings and furniture; disinfect beds, furniture, and equipment after use; keep the ward, store, fridge, and facilities clean and tidy; assist the patient with activities of daily living; answer phone calls and relay messages; attend to patient calls promptly; assist nurses in transporting patients to and from the operating theatre; escort patients to other services f...
