Healthcare Assistant (Theatres)
Site: Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital – permanent, part‑time (24 hours per week, pro‑rata £25,545). The role includes evening and weekend work.
Position Overview
Healthcare Assistants in theatre support the team in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring a positive experience for patients undergoing major and minor surgeries.
Responsibilities
- Assist with moving patients in and out of the operating theatre.
- Help with theatre preparation and set‑up.
- Provide family reassurance and support.
- Carry out routine administration tasks.
- Work flexibly to support the theatre team.
Qualifications
- NVQ/SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
- Strong communication skills and empathy.
- Flexible approach to duties and hours.
