Healthcare Assistant
Ridgeway Hospital | 25 Hours & Permanent | Salary: Up to £24,947.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)
We have an opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team in the Endoscopy department. This is a part-time role for 25 hours a week, covering flexible shift patterns.
Duties of this role include:
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, washing, dressing, toileting, oral care, and mobility needs, respecting their preferences and dignity.
- Help patients with eating, drinking, and nutritional support, including documenting intake where appropriate.
- Provide comfort and emotional support to patients and relatives, creating a caring and safe environment.
- Carry out and accurately record routine observations such as blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, temperature, oxygen saturation, and blood glucose levels (after appropriate training). ...
