Heavy Duty Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maneuver heavy‑duty vehicles, ensuring adherence to all traffic regulations and safety protocols at all times.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to identify any mechanical issues, ensuring the vehicle is in optimal working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, mileage, and freight documentation to comply with industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in heavy vehicle operation are a plus.
• Valid Heavy Duty Driver Licence (Truck) with endorsements relevant to the type of vehicle operated.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience driving heavy‑duty vehicles in a commercial setting, preferably in transportation or logistics.
• Proven track record of safe driving, with a clean driving record and no major violations in the past 5 years.
