The Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic is responsible for the repair of heavy construction equipment, component assemblies, and parts, on construction job sites. This includes diagnosing, troubleshooting, parts ordering, maintenance & repair of company assets, and proper communication with others and ensures accurate diagnosis and effective repair and/or replacement in a time-efficient and cost-effective manner.

- Performs proficient inspection, diagnosis, and moderately complex repair of heavy equipment.
- Identifies mechanical problems visually and/or with computer diagnostic equipment
- Records and reports all diagnostic & repairs performed on equipment in work orders.
