**Responsibilities**
+ The Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Combat Systems (M1) is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling heavy military equipment, with a focus on combat systems such as Tanks including armament, automotive, auxiliary systems, cannon assemblies, recoil systems, traversing/elevating systems, stabilization, sighting/fire control, NBC systems, fuel systems, turbine/gasoline/diesel engines, cooling systems,transmissions, and final drives.
+ Conduct inspections and diagnostics on M1/M1A1, M113, and recovery vehicle systems.
+ The role requires specialized knowledge of hull and turret operations, plus general heavy equipment maintenance.
